Paul Price Bio
Paul began his creative career as a graffiti artist in Liverpool (including legal commissions), and soon found new ways to commercially express his love for art, type and design. Educated in both Liverpool and Bucks, he earned a degree in Graphic Design and Advertising.
He spent the following four years at MacUser magazine, receiving accolades for his Art Direction including Best Designed Business magazine in the Total Publishing awards.
In addition, throughout this time he also became well-known for his design-led illustration for numerous other clients.
Paul now has spent last 16 years as a freelance Creative Director and Illustrator
(general art bod…), working on brands and establishing magazines. Since the dawn of the internet, he has used his compositional skills and dynamic range of styles to create widely differing projects including: CDs, posters, book covers, brochures, packaging, branding and even some fine art projects!
He has been featured in various design and art magazines. Paul's work has also appeared in several books on illustration and he has given talks on his style, techniques and inspiration. Paul has also released five stock art discs of his illustrations for Getty, worked with other stock libraries which have been bestsellers for many years, and has judged Digital Art awards various design association's and even Amnesty International.
His illustration work has also appeared in various exhibitions.
